The currently accepted explanation is that the name for the cut did come from the name of the fish, via a slightly indirect route. It was thought to look stupid, and so the name mullethead came to be used to describe anyone considered dull or stupid. It dates in the written record with this meaning from 1857. This use of mullethead was shortened in the 20th century to mullet, retaining the same meaning, and that is thought to be the source of the haircut name.

I was kidding about the french thing. Pronounce it like I typed it and it sounds french. "moo-lay" I was trying to add a touch of class to an otherwise hillbilly hairstyle.

Geeeeeze...why couldn't this have started 2 days earlier. On Saturday, I took some great pictures of 'Beatles Impersonators'. They don't play again until the 30th! :(

Yeah! I was a bit light on with footwear from the 80's! I had to make the shirt from a printer transfer cause my old Choose Life shirt from the 80's is long gone! *sigh*

Came up with an idea to get an idea this morning, and it WORKED! I got a shot. I really like it, so I am sure that it will undoubtedly wind up in dead solid mediocreville :-P

yep - just entered mine about 30 minutes ago. I really did not think I was entering this challenge. I even told my hubby this morning I would be sitting it out. Well, suring the day I was taking shots and guess what - one of them fit perfectly! I really like this. It may be my best yet - to me that is. My highest score so far is a 5.624. I'm really hoping this one will get me a 6, but higher would be great!

So next time, edit ALL your possibles ahead of time and then vacillate until minus-5 minutes. It's good practice for ya, more editing.
