Hey Lentil! All working now I see. What lens are you using on these shots? Just the kit lens? The first one just looks a little soft and I quite often get that with my kit lens, hence why I'm trying to get new ones. Otherwise they're cool! I like the 2nd one! :)

i was using my old 70-300. I wanted to see how high i could go with it. The flower was right up the top of the tree

Very nice I've been tempted to grab the film camera and go play with the telephoto, but I'm addicted to my little digital.N

Lisa the pics look a bit soft, this lens is better at certain apertures and focal lengths though. I'd check the exif data for the top pics for this lens and try using the same values in similar situations.
Glad you got your problem with the camera solved, that must have been a real bummer. |

I know Canon can be a pain in the ass about focusing, hardly usable brand still i use it I was so stub-it to start whit Canon, but now and then you can get picture in focus, in hard condition I am not talking about backyard photography there we have all in focus :)
and to solve focus and nose problem in D10 you got D20 not as sharp Ufffff !
I am wondering when thy grow old and starting to sell good consumer cameras
