But how can I compare how much better the D70 is without the option of the canon 20D? How can I be conflicted over which to buy????

| Hmmm... and just a couple days before I was planning on buying a 20D. Does this mean I should wait for whatever upgrade must be coming and then buy the 20D when the price drops? |

I posted this today on another forum after I sent an email to canon asking if there was to be a new 20D. Their reply is below.
They are saying no right now. There is a camera out called the 20Da, which can be found on their products website under Astrophotography. There are some really neat photos in there. Check it out.

Interesting the camera shows available Sept 2005. Didn't it come out Sept 2004?

| The 20Da is meant for astrophotography only. This is what the Canon rep told me. I did mean to ask him though if it would decrease the amount of noise while shooting indoor sporting events without a flash. I will email him tomorrow. |

20Da is not news. //www.canon.ca/english/index-products.asp?lng=en&prodid=820&sgid=23&gid=2&ovr=1
That was pointed out over a month ago. It's a specialty version of the 20D.
