I took some shots of the cemetary yesterday. I hope this subject is not too macabre for people. I really came away thinking the place was quite beautiful. I was tempted to enter one of these shots into the "Affluence" challenge, but decided they'd just get trashed on.

I'm primarily interested to know which is better: The color? Or the B&W?

Color. Both are nice, but color one rules.

Holy smokes, I didn't know there was such a huge cemetery at Point Loma. I never made it out that way when I lived down there, but had friends stationed there.

Nice job!

I would also have to say the color it has more to offer with the different color tones and shades. Also less straining on the eyes

Color is probably the way to go, but you might want to purify it. There's an overall muddy yellow cast to the image; look critically at the stones themselves and you'll see they are actually yellow, not white. Try setting white point in levels off a stone highlight and see what happens?

I hope you don't mind, I stumbled around a bit in PS. This is what I came up with. The white may be a little too bright.
