hey guys, i'm so forgetful nowadays. can anyone help me out and refresh my memory on how to create a border through photoshop? thanks. |

For a basic, simple white border, Ctrl-A (selects entire image) Edit, Stroke, type in 10-20 pixels (assuming a 640 pixel wide image), Choose the color such as white, Location, select inside, Blending Mode Normal, Opacity 100% - Poof. Done. |

thank you for that. that helped. i've always been interested in learning about how to do that border that's inside the photo. do you know how to do that too? |

Another way is using the canvas size. Choose a foreground color, then under the image drop down, choose canvas size, then change size to pixels instead of inches, and put in your size (usually matching numbers) to width and height. You can keep doing this with different colors to get the multiple borders. It also keeps the image the same, builds around the outside instead of creeping in on it.
