I am aiming at nice and simple...and professional.
I think I got my point across...any thoughts, comments, suggestions, recommendations, feedback, bashing, questions, or corrections greatly appreciated ;)

Thanks.
Oh, and obviously, I need more for the portfolio, but that's just what I've gotten so far.

I like it! It's nice and neat! I agree with the nav bar being slightly bigger! My only other gripe is that if you should have your self protrait without the camera in front of your face!

Nice and simple indeeeeeeeeeed
Some things I found were:
Your 'about me' picture needs better allignment, it looks rather cut and paste
The text in 'pricing' and 'contact' seems a bit jumbled and squashed near the top. A little bit more spacing could help
The portfolio section looks great. When you add more, how many pictures are you planning to show? If you're going to show a lot you better sort them somehow in sections.
Overall it looks really nice- much more professional than the last one. |

Another thing I'll add is you definatly need a better picture of yourself. People will want to know who they are dealing with, a bald punk kid-that-hides-his-face in a FOX shirt? |

Cool guys, thanks.
What's wrong with the pop-up window script, if someone wouldn't mind pointing that out to me.

The larger images don't fit in the new window that opens. They are cut off on the right and resizing is not allowed.
Otherwise, it is nice and simple and easy to follow.

I would give your links a little something that says "Here! I'm Clickable". Not necesarilly for the menu bar (though still a good idea) but for the links in the body text (the only two I found were your email links on the About and Contact pages) there is nothing that makes them really stand out for the user.
Even a simple underline or a little bit darker/lighter (though I think lighter would be hard to read) font color would be helpful just so the visitor doesn't have to take that extra mental step.

It's a browser issue. I'm using Netscape 7.
IE 6.0 works fine.

OK, how's that for the portfolio, it should be resizeable now. I think it's easier to just open in a totally new window without a javascript???

I agree with much of what has been said. It looks like you may have changed the picture since starting the thread, but I might suggest to change it again. The lighting is certainly harsh and the crop is uneven - neither of which are _truly_ important.. but I think this photograph is, in essence, another part of your portfolio. I think a meticulously executed self-portrait could make people feel more at ease.. and smile, that'll help too :P

Really like the layout ... I agree, nice and simple works. The only thing I am personally not a fan of is that a new browser window opens when you click on one of the thumbnails. The rest is great!

interestingly enough, your logo doesnt show up when viewing your site through firefox Fetor, and the colors are a bit messed up. but the logo loads fine through IE and the colors look fine.

Rofl. I was wondering why I didn't see any really eye catching logos. I figured I was just being thick though so I didnt say anything :)

I didn't really want to clutter stuff up with a logo. Maybe once I get a business card going, I'll post a copy of that up there somewhere on the main page, maybe to the left...or one at the top of the contact page, etc.
Thanks.

me being picky...
i have found that using pop-up windows will usually end up confusing users...if anything, include a little note that clicking an image wil open a new window.
but thats just me
