Been wanting to shoot Katie for a long time, but had never gotten around to it until last night. We were sitting around out at the lake when a photoshoot broke out. Bryce can't resist jumping in when he sees a camera so we let him play too.

*Gasp* - Pedro, these are super duper! I just love everything about each one of them. The toning is fantastic - your lighting wonderful, posting spectacular, framing spot on... GREAT WORK!

*Does the I'm not worthy bow* - I hope to create portraits this nice someday.

What lens were you using?

"Nothings" is my favorite, but great shots all around! What fun!

I'm going to guess and say they were taken with his 70-200.

I think the photo details say 50mm 1.8 lens

yup. all with the 50mm. I love the shallow depth with that lens wide open. There was enough light that i could have done down to F8 and still had decent shutter, but I prefer it the other way. I like the 70-200 for portraits as well, but it's a little less stealthy or something (unless I'm a long way away using it at 200mm).

Thanks for all the great comments.

and Brad...that's why my friends keep me around...I'm the token ugly guy to bring down the group average.

Doh! I should have looked there. I was too entranced by the photos though. ;-)
