I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ20, I also have some money burning a hole in my pocket (but not enough for a good camera), what should I buy to boost the coolness of my camera, anyone reccomend any lenses or adaptors or anything? |

hotshoe flash,
1.4x converter, giving you 600 mm :D
Or just wait 2 month for the FZ30 to debute.FZ30 |

Have you got a good tripod already?

Pedxer the panasonic FZ20 is a great prosumer camera. I guess when you say you don't have enough money for a good camera you mean a dSLR? Unless you want to save your money up for a dSLR which I seen a thread where you can purchase the Rebel XT w/lens for less than $800. The best thing you can get for the the Panasonic FZ20 is a flash, Remote, tripod (if you don't already have one), or a teleconver or wide angle lens adapter.
A lot of people are real excited about the FZ30 but there are a few drawbacks with it. You will loose the f/2.8 throughout the lens and I don't know how the noise will be with a small 8mp sensor. The FZ20 already has its fair share of noise above 200 ISO @ 5.0mp.

Great thanks for all the ideas guys, I already have a SunPak 7500 Tripod which is more tripod than I know how to use!
Peterish (or anyone else) do you have the Teleconversion lens, the wide angle lens, or the external flash? If so which one do you find the most useful?
Is there anything I can do for my camera to make it take better night pictures (long exposures, skylines, landscapes)? Does anyone have any reviews on the flash?

I actually do not have a teleconverter nor an external flash...but I do want both. Becareful when you are looking for a teleconverter, cuz the FZ20 has a 65 mm lens thread, so don't buy a 55 mm converter. Also, a lot of people complain about major loss of quality with any teleconverter above a 1.6x, so I would stick with 1.4x to be safe.
As for external flash, it's hard because Panasonic doesn't have a good selection of hotshoes, so you will have to go 3rd party. Perhaps someone else here can recommend a good flash for panasonics?

I bought the Sunpak 383 Super for my Lumix. Love it except for the very long recycle time. |

What is the Sunpak 383 Super? Is it a lens? |
