Is it ok to use a product in a photo submission that has its label plainly in view? For example, a Hershey chocolate bar in full view.

As long as you're not selling the photo, I think it's ok.

Logos are usually trademarked (and sometimes copyrighted). So you can photograph them, but you can't make money of them.
