Does this type of selective desat work? Will gladly return comments for your time :) Thanks. |

It doesn't look desaturated. Probably because the building was gray to begin with. |

Yes it was... the window trim was a dark green color. This is actually a desat then I duotoned it. Doesn't work huh? |

I think it works, but if you hadn't said you desaturated it, I wouldn't have noticed anything unusual. Most of the buildings like this that I have seen look are that color. Desaturating the window isn't really noticable to me. |

------- Before ------------- After ---------
Just a little different take.
Selective desats work, but on this one, attention kind of needs to me made of it being done to look the part.
In the case of the edited version, it still looks kinda like it is supposed to look like that.

Now this is why I joined this site to begin with :) What program did you use for this? I really like the way you did it. I have so much to learn and people like yourself helps me move forward and achieve it. I should just use your image :) LOL |

Hehehehe - have at it.
Actually, I went back and added what I think I did in the comments section of the edited version. Problem with getting old is that I often have no idea how I got to the end result. Heck, I'm not even sure where I was an hour ago...

I like the original, but I also like Brad's edit which I call the "Tim Burton" version.
