I have been playing with a few filters I downloaded and different contrast, just wanted some comments and suggestions. If you haven't noticed I love the High Key and Glamour filters.

these are great, I like the gold tone to the first. I went through your portfolio and I have a question? Why in the world do you not have a ribbon yet? You have got some really nice work, you're love of b/w really shows in how well they are done. I guess it just isn't your time just yet but I'm betting soon.

Good luck.

Well, thank you very much! Did you happen to look at my challenge photos? They kind of suck. I am terrible under pressure I guess. There are always like 100 - 200 pictures way better than mine. My favorite is the fork, and it bombed. I thought it was hillarious.

You can't use a bent fork to eat, so I thought it would be obsolete. It has those wierd shadows because it is sitting on the edge of the bathtub.

I know what you mean about the challenge photos, if I even have time to submit an image I want it to be out of the ordinary, and usually rush and don't think of all the aspects that go into it. It sucks having a full time job, trying to spend time with the distant family AND shooting photography. I suggested the tools of the trade challenge and didn't get a shot till late that evening and now it is totally bombing (I think it's subject matter has a lot to do with that...hope I didn't reveal too much :) ). I do much better at landscapes and flowers and such where I can take my time and not feel pressured, but I guess the pressure helps me in some ways.

To be honest, I don't remember! I think that one was flashback and the other glamour? I have downloaded so many I haven't had time to play with them all, most of them are ok but a few I really like.

Played with some more. Any thoughts? Post your filter examples in this thread, I would love to see them.
