When resizing a pic for the web there are choices: Nearest Neighbor, Bicubic, Bilinear as examples. Which do you use and why? Which is best? Which is worst? Of course this is all based on your personal preferences and experiences.

I don't have a particular choice for that, when down-sampling!
Does it affect the resize process!? I thought it was only for interpolation (up-sampling)

It's important with downsampling as well since pixels need to be thrown out. Which ones depends on the downsampling method.

If using CS I use bicubic sharper. I've read that this negates the need to do it in steps, but I still take three steps to get to the 640 pixel DPC size limit.

To downsample use Bicubic Ssharper, for Upsampling use Bicubic Smoother.

Damn I just crop it using the crop tool, to the aspect (size) I want!

Hmm I don't have resizing with sharper/smoother... never tried the step down method either. There is a terrible sharpness loss during resizing though :-/
