Does anyone know any good ideas or softare programs, or plugins i can buy that will reduce facial shine or skin shine altogether i remember reading at one point or another that i could use a air brush but that isnt a very good idea because it causes the subject to look so fake unless your extremely careful and patient
thanks

I use healing brush with texture chosen from a darker area, it will tone down the shine without drastically changing the appearance.

Yep... use the healing brush to cover the shine, then Fade if necessary until it looks natural.

You could use the cloning tool (like I do) set to a really low transparency so you have to go over and over the same area to start seeing a difference - is very natural looking because the changes are minute.

If it's just a lot brighter than the surrounding skin, but still has detail, you may be able to simply use the Burn tool. I just set it to a very low value with a soft brush and repeat applications until it looks better.

doing all these suggestions on a new layer so you can change the Fill/Opacity is a good idea.
Lets not forget the Patch Tool and then a slight bit of healing brush around it to touch it up. Had great luck with that and then either Fading or adjusting opacity.
