Never mind stupid. That one's just plain ugly. I didn't think it could get any uglier until I saw one painted mustard yellow.

Not stupid, but definate odd to see driving around. We have another van driving around town that is done up of everything 'buffy the vampire slayer', I'll have to get a pic of that one some day. |

I was wondering who would be first to post a Pacer. Naturally, Ken wins... Now, where's the Gremlin shot?

Not all that bad when compared to other cars of the same era, just subject to so much bad publicity courtesy of Ralph Nader.

The following caption accompanied a photo of an Aztek:
"Hello, On-Star? My wife made me buy this butt-ugly Aztek, and I just can't stand it!"
"That's quite alright, sir. If you'll just step away from the vehicle and give us your personal code, we can send a remote signal which will short the battery and trigger an electrical fire."
"Thank you, On-Star!" |

And at least not deliberately left unsafe like the Ford Pinto, where they decided it was cheaper to pay off the liability suits than make a $6 engineering/production modification. |

It was a very effective 5-passenger stove. |

My dad had a Pinto wagon for a long time. It drove great--just had to avoid being rear-ended.
If I only had a photo of my '62 Citroen station wagon ...

It also makes a great example of what NOT to do for engineering ethics classes, along with the Challenger launch decision, the Hyatt Regency walkway in Kansas City.
