Pretty please, can someone tell me what is the correct bracket that I can mount on my 20D to position the Speedlite flash off camera?
Thanks much in advance.
Also, any advice on the omni bounce or other device to make my flash into a diffused light? |

There isn't really a "correct" bracket. Many manufacturers make them and if you're handy you could make one of your own. |

Thanks Shroom, but I am not that handy and I need this really soon for a wedding shoot this weekend. I just don't want to buy something that will not fit my camera. |

B&H Photo Flash Brackets
Here's a link to B&H's brackets. There are plenty to choose from at all price points. If you're unsure though you may want to make a trip down to a local camera shop with your camera. |

the three that seem to have the biggest following:
All by stroboframe:
quick flip
press-T
camera flip
I am going to be getting the last one. If you use a battery pack make sure it works wth the bracket you choose. you'll need canon's cord for $60 to use e-ttl with the flash mounted on the bracket. if you don't need anymore than a trigger, $20 would do it for apc cable and hot shoe adapter (if needed).
omni bounce, lumiquest softbox or gary fong's lightsphere 2 are the three top diffusion choices. the lightsphere mimics an open bulb flash (like a lumedyne) and works very well.

Do you have the grip or not?
If not, try the quikFlip 350 from Stroboframe. ~$50
As for diffusion, the best thing I've seen is Gary Fong's Lightsphere, but if you have the 420EX, you may find it's sucks up a bit too much light.
Don't forget the off-camera cord too.

Thank you for all your replies.
I have bought the Canon Speedlite 580EX flash and the omni bounce cap for diffussion.
No bracket for now. I am going to learn to use the flash properly before investing into a bracket and cable. The brackets I looked at and would like to buy are a bit pricy, so for now I will do with top mounted flash.
Spazmo, I do have the battery grip for my Canon. Thanks for the advice.
