Now that I have your interest, I have noticed repeatedly that Canon 20D owners constantly talk about their D20's.
See this link:
Canon D20?
I have never seen a Nikon owner call their camera a 70D. Do you think this is some kind of Freudian slip where the inner Psyche really wanted a Nikon?

I think what's happening is that the Canon owners feel kind of guilty about having so much better gear than you guys, so they try to make ya feel better by reversing the name; D20 sounds like it's several generations older than D70. Call it an act of selfless charity :-)

I know how it feels, since I'm a reformed Nikon guy. Except for large-format cameras, I've really never shot naything BUT Nikon until I got this camera... And you're welcome :-)

In psychological parlance your suggestion could either be called projection (YOU, really want a Canon but are projecting on to canon users they want a Nikon), or Canon Envy. Either way, it's an egocentric world for you. There is photographic life outside of Canon and Nikon!

Isn't 8 fps for the photographers who have a bad sense of timing? Hypothesis: "If I take enough shots fast enough, I'm sure to get at least one that is good"
