I am back from Scandinavia with over a thousand shots. I finished post-processing 4 so far. My photography has gone a different trail as I shoot mostly with my new Sigma 12-24 lens. I love it. Portrait was not much of an option for me as I feel lazy fitting in my 70-200 lens plus the fact that Europe is not the place to shoot portraits (comparing to Asia). But I tried (and failed oftentimes :( )

My trip covered Denmark, Norway and Sweden. I went on a package tour and most of my better pictures were shots I took on my own personal walks outside of the itinerary's guided tours.

Here are the 4 shots. I might post more here or I might just create a pbase gallery. As always, comments will be appreciated especially because landscape/seascape, etc. are something new to me.

Many thanks for viewing this thread and the pictures.

Hi Manny,

Glad you enjoyed your trip, some great images. Just love the 'father & son' image, excellent composition and the ground triangles just make it such an unusual image, like the way the sunlight picks out the little boys hat as well.

Did you enjoy Bergen, go up on the Tram? Remember Bergen well as we spent a few days there on our honeymoon (a few years ago now..). Would like to see your other shots as I wasn't really into photography then and missed out on shooting such a beautiful city.

Thanks for sharing, looking forward to further additions...

It always rains in Bergen. :)

The father and son pic, well, it's a great composition on its own but the shadows finish it off so well. Excellent.

Indeed too bad. I love Oslo...a very beautiful city. I took a lot of shots from there. I could have enjoyed taking pictures with you. Next time around...
