Hi..
I have a Canon Rebel XT and i loooove it. BUT.. now when i have started to use it more and more I find more and more about it. on the camera there are Advanced operations, I have been shooting mostly inthe operation P (in wich I have to do every thing like in manual mode). According to the manual the mode TV and AV should help me by having some stuff automatic. Like TV you set the shutter speed and the aperture us automatic. The AV mode it turns around. But when i try this on my camera, I set it on TV and I turn the wheel but the shutter speed dose not change.
Then I try setting it on AV and I can change both shutter and aperture just like in M mode.
Plz help me. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have gone thouht the manual trying to see if there are some buttens I have to press. But I can't find anything.
plz. help me. :(
edit: even in automatic mode I have to do everything like in M mode.

That sounds strange. I hope there's not something wrong with that switch (the mode selection one). My daughter had a loaner film SLR that did something very similar to that, we had to put the wheel halfway between settings to get Av mode to function.

| I have had the camera for maximum of 1,5 month now. So if there is something wrong with it I will just get another one. I know the store owner i got it from. But still.. this is strange! |
