I feel silly taking pictures of myself...I have done it with the tripod once and felt really stupid running around the room to strike a pose..or there is always the other alternitive, sticking your arm out as I did in that photo..but if it isn't tightly cropped you can tell who the photographer is and I think it looks silly.

That photo is a very good one for holding it out at arms length. You should see some of the self portraits from this challenge.

just took these today in the vehicle..learned its hard as hell using the vehicles mirrors to do a self portrait but i wasnt bored waiting any longer

This is the first self-portrait I did using a digital camera, taken about three years ago with my Olympus C-3020Z.

No way--three exposures + The GIMP (the Linux equivalent of Photoshop).
