Hey guys! What a beautiful day it was here. I went to Montreal to shoot with Jean-Michel. Here's a few shots.
I realised earlier that he's got my belt on since he didn't have one, and he forgot to give it back. Notice how loose it is around him... I guess it's time I loose a few pounds. ;-)

Here's a shot he did of me. It was about time I showed a recent self portrait...
Edit Not really a "self" portrait but you know what I mean.

I really like #4. It's the most natural, and really shows off the model. I like the others, too, but he seems to be squinting a lot. :)
Probably all that warm sunshine!

Dude, don't you know, when you give the camera to the model to take a picture of you...you're supposed to put it on manual, and extremely overexpose, so that way when you show them the picture, they get an appreciation of how hard your work really is. ;-)

Here's a few more that I worked on today.
And this one that I couldn't resist.

Actually, I was pretty nervous because he insisted on doing jump shots and I kept telling him: "Don't do anything stupid like break your face, if you do, I'll have a hell of a shot but I'll loose a client!"
He was only jumping from the penthouse roof onto the actual roof but it was still a good 10' into a buch of gravel.
This little guy, I tried to convince his mom to pose with him but... "Well I just got back from work and I would need to fix myself up first"... Too bad, she was nice. |
