Just a heads up for anyone thinking about getting an ATI HDTV Wonder card and putting it in their PC and have it work just like magic...It isn't all that easy...especially if you have an nVidia GPU (or any nVidia Parts like mobos etc). Shoot, from what I have found on the net it doesn't even play (install) well with some ATI video cards.

The good news is that once you got it running there is nothing like seeing those High Def shows like PBS and a lot of other local channels are broad casting (I watched CSI: Miami and House in HD and they were both insane (I don't even like house)).

It is a Video Capture, Dual Tuner (DTV and Analog) which pulls Off Air DTV channels...I'm grabbing about 25 right now, many of which are HD. Video capture means that I will be able to do tutorials in mpeg format. It also is a PVR (tivo) with guide+ for recording while you are away and also does the TV-on-demand (Pause the show and then come back and unpause and it continues) function.

The picture Quality Rocks nothing like watching shows at 1080i on your pewter. My goal is to build a stylin PC running Windows XP Media Center and driving my 42" Plasma...We'll see how that goes.

Just wanted put out a heads up that it is not a straight forward install. ATI's Installer Software Sux. The card is finicky and you have to get the IRQ's right by moving the card around in the PCI slots, and then if you are running WinXP SP2 there is an Environment Variable that you have to add to make the analog tuner work. None of the fixes are easily locatable on the web.

The card if you can find one at a local bestbuy (out of stock online) is $119 which is awesome, anywhere else it runs about $150
