What type of ink do they use?

Thanks, but I know which cartridges they use. Im looking for what type of ink it is. Such as, I know that Epson uses a different type of ink than Canon. im trying to figure out what type of ink it is that canon uses.

If the i9900 uses the same type of ink as the pixma series, then it stinks.

ok still no help. The i9900 doesnt use the pixma ink.

It uses the same ink as the i950/960 printers if that helps. It is referred to as Chroma Plus. BTW this is the same ink referred to on the Canon site for the pixma 6000 printer.

Canon uses Dye based inks, Epson uses Pigment based inks. |
