I've been looking at this for awhile and I think it's finished, but I need some "new" eyes looking it over.

This is a rather severe crop from the original shot of this bride with her grandmother. I really liked her expression. Because it's a crop and I've lost some detail, I thought a softer edit would work well. The colors appear a bit livlier in PS, and it has lost a bit of detail of course in the resizing for web, so keep that in mind. If you were the bride would you like it?

Yes, I would. I like the soft look and the smile is natural. Nice treatment and capture.

Looks fine to me, for its intended purpose. Not especially to my taste, but that's utterly irrelevant; I doubt she'd want to be portrayed in the manner of, say, a Diane Arbus portrait...

I think it looks very nice, and I imagine she'll be happy with it. I *would* try to even out the gradient a little more, though. The complete white oval has a noticeable ending where the gradient starts. But, as you mentioned, this may just be part of the web version, and printed it may not be as noticable.
