Thanks everyone for your kind words and Pawdrix for taking pictures of it = )
Sorry I wasn't able to reply earlier, I spent the day in NYC taking pictures, seeing a show and generally walking around having a good time. BTW, the first thing that I thought when I saw Kodak's caption was 'crap....I think I spelled the lighthouse name wrong' = P So yes, it should be Bodie, not Body.

It was definitely an awesome feeling to see my picture displayed in such a public and prominent place (I should've used it to try to pick up some girls, you know "hey, I've got my picture in a billboard on Times Square...", but anyway)

well in the FWIW area the lighthouse was named Bodie because all the bodies from all the shipwrecks used to drift to that area.. Hence the name Bodie pronounced Bo-dee..

I have a zillion shots from Nagshead it is a photog's dream..

Nice shot and Congrats, I see they have taken down the orange silt fencing that was there last Novemeber. We got some nice shots with the light on and a full moon but alas the orange fence.

Glad it all worked out and you got to see it in person.

FWIW, while I was snapping away at your billboard shot, I picked up a bunch of girls by telling them it was my shot that was up there. So not all was a loss. Thanx for the edge.
