Anyone know where to buy these or a quick/easy/cheap way of building one? I'm trying to search on Ebay just for the heck of it but I'm not sure what they are really called and so am not having much luck...

Thanks in advance!

Peck board? lol You mean peg board? ;-) I've thought about that but was looking to see what other ideas there may be.

Thanks!

heyah, jen, you might want to check out this article about selling prints at shows.

they are pretty hep on the craft hut, found here

the gist of it is that your display is part of your image, and if it looks cheap, you will look cheap, also...

good luck!

haha...in reality, there is a happy medium between chicken wire and top-of-the-line, ya just gotta look for it (that's another one of my 'side' projects...). wouldn't it be cool for there to be a site like www.artshow-in-a-box.com that included everything you needed, priced from low to high? ya know, a complete turnkey deal? hmmmm...

Yea, Skip, that would be great, wouldn't it?! Everything you need from from beginning to end. Maybe there is a site but I've been searching and searching and haven't found one like that.

However, after reading your last post I did a new search and found some display walls...exactly like the ones we've been borrowing! It turned out that the link I found is part of a site I already have bookmarked. Doh.

Anyway, if you or anyone else is interested you can find them here. Still seems like a lot of money (to cheap 'lil me) if you want to build anything of size. I requested a free brochure and I'll thinka bout it some more. I'm also thinking some fencing and metal pipes welded together may do a similar job. ;-)

just a few things to keep in mind: ease of set up, ease of breakdown, ease of transportation, and ease of storage...

You're welcome, Skip.

I've enlisted my father in trying to make some like these. If I stick with the 3x3 sections they will easily fit in a car and trunk. The setup is really easy - we've been using some idential to these for some Friday exhibits I've been doing. They just slip in the feet and at the top you insert a hairpin-type clip to keep the two upper sections together and stable. I've gotta do something. I've been stocking up on some things in hopes of doing shows this fall and near Christmas. I can't just keep displaying them on a table. :-/

Thanks again, Skip. :-)
