Ive been having problems with my night shots, looking through my view finder when its really dark i cant see any edges, and i have the hardest time focusing. Is there any way or any tips to help focusing in night shots?

Measure (or estimate) the distance to the subject, use manual focus, and adjust it in the little "window" on the lens so that distance on the scale is aligned with the focusing mark. If unsure, do several focus variations. Take a small penlight so you can illuminate the scale while focusing. If you want to preserve your night vision, use a red or green penlight.

This has all been discussed in the past. One recent thread that springs to mind: //www.dpchallenge.com/forum.php?action=read&FORUM_THREAD_ID=225788
