Hi,
I am working on Picture-A-Day theme for a year taking pictures of my little daughter every day. I just thought that this would be better than taking a general picture every day as shooting a picture of your child everyday means that you have to be there.

I know many of you have done this keeping a specific subject in mind before and would love to have some pointers on it regarding:

-A- Have there actually been those days when you did not get the perfect picture of your subject or for some reason you just could not be there... then what do you do.

-B- Tools to develop the cover page picture with those tiled thumbs of all pictures.. I hope you know what I mean.

-C- Site development sugessions (examples would be helpful)

In general what i require is your experiences on this.

Check the latest pictures here.

PS: I know there may are other threads on this topic but just could not find them.

Edit: typo

There have almost been 365 challenges now. Why not shoot one per day for a year? I think that'll be my next project!

This doesn't really fit into your your picture-a-day theme, but one idea I have seen before was really neat. I know this mother who made a book with the ABC's theme. Each page focused on a letter and her children, pets, and other family members were in the pictures. Example: A is for Allison (picture of Allison), B is for Barney (picture of Allison with her favorite stuffed animal, C is for Cat (Picture of Allison with her kitten. It was a really nice book that she had printed to teach her children thier ABC's.
