I was away from photography for almost 3 months, but I recently had the opportunity to shoot with Katie and try to get things going again. As usual, I posted a contact sheet on the web. The following image didn't attract any attention in it's original form, but the lighting intrigued me. Perhaps the highlight on Katie's face reminded me of the 'eye' lighting that was popular in old B&W movies or maybe I just like odd lighting. I worked up in B&W and am posting here for your review and to see if others find it interesting.

I really liked this portrait a lot. It's very neat how thelight just catches her face. It highlights her eyes very well. |

I like the pose and the lighting
I don't like the light in her armpit, makes her look bigger than she is (easy fix in photoshop)
Under her left eye is a little dark and looks almost like a black eye (very easy fix in photoshop)
very pretty model, very good shot

Thanks for taking such a close look! I removed the bright highlight in her armpit and tried to lighten up the dark area under her left eye.
