35mm or medium or large format?

cheap ones - canoscan 8400 is ok for medium format, havent tried 35mm...
expensive =nikon coolscan8000 is a lot of money but its my favorite to use for 35mm slides and medium format slides. Its also good for medium format negatives, havent tried 35mm negatives but its probly pretty good for that.

if you only need 35 mm ive heard the minolta IV is a good scanner, flatbeds are never gonna be as good as specific film scanners.
