Okay guys and girls heres some photos from Digital Development Digital Devlopment: Kids With Cameras
The teen gallery can be seen here
I set "challenges" for the kids, to help hone thier eyes - the relative challenge is written in the caption.
The midday group (ages ranged from 8-13) can be found here
Check out the pictures by Madison at the end of the gallery - i was blown away when i downloaded her photos - we all better hold onto what ribbons we have, because i'm thinking of letting her loose on DPC!
Sadly my ftp from the studio died while transfering the little 'uns pictures,(and me at home) so i have nothing to show from the 6-9 y/os as yet.
But theyre coming!!
Yikes, next saturday is so soon!!!!

:(~i guess ill just haveta wait to see muh babies photos. just my luck too. let us know when the little ones are done. my girls cant wait til saturday!

i know! I havent even got to look at them - i'm really annoyed but my BiL is being a grouch and wont take me down town to get them.

You need to tell the kid in the middle "Look, when the police officer tells you to put your hands in the air, you need to comply!" LOL
...and teaching kids chimping at such a young age?? tsk tsk ;-)

Haha, that wasn't my class, but a childrens day camp performance. The little guy with the cast is one of my photogs though. Poor kid is plastered all the way up his arm (from falling off the monkey bars - so not so chimpy after all). Probably give himself a concussion if he tried to raise his hands up!

UPDATE - cant find other thread (read-too lazy/ tired to look)
Well finally we have completed our mini course in photography.
We have a gallery opening in 2 weeks from now, you should all fly in to rural kentucky to see hahah.
The kids did really great - time to go through thier gear and pick what we want to print for our show
woohoo. It was great - everyone should try this! |

UPDATE since im talikingabout it on the other boards
we are having an exhibit with and opening this saturday with the kids work (anyone local to SE KY should come - Harlan Courthouse, Main St, Harlan 1pm)
They have taken some fabulous photos - i've not made the public galleries for the site this week - i am busy as a bee right now cutting mats for thier photos between affluence votes.
But do check out what tey have done in the first 2 weeks at thier website. Ive had many many requests to rerun the program later in the year. |
