Hey guys, check out my new photo-a-day project script that I just completed. Written in php. No automatic thumbnail generation yet, plan on putting that in later today or tomorrow. Let me know what you think.

Nice job. I like the calendar idea. A little larger might help so that you can make out the pictures before choosing which one/s you are going to click on.
If you're after inspiration, some of the best daily photoblogs can be found here, here and another one here. Good luck with your project.

| how about the full size image for the day as default, thumbnails then to view older pics with a fluid layout? |
