I know you guys have been patiently waiting for this.... and I finally found some time so here are a few of my photos from Cozumel.

Nice photos of Cozumel !!! I noticed a Carnival ship in one. Was it the Paradise? I liked the first one with the abandoned boat best :)

Bob, There were so many cruise ships there that I could not keep track of all of them. On Wednesday alone, there were 7 cruise ships at the docks, so that is the day we rented the jeep for a trip to the other (uninhabited) side of the island.

Very nice photos! My faves, although I like them all, are PierMorning, West Shore, Sea Sky, and the Carnival ship "The Sensation" (It's the ship we went on for our honeymoon!)- It looks like a photo they might like to see!?!
Cozumel is a great place, I've been twice - but only on cruises, I bet it was a great place to relax but have lots of fun! Hope so anyway!
Thanks for sharing them with us! Brings back lots of fun memories! ;) |

One side of the island is all built up with hotels and shopping and other touristy kinds of things. The other side of the island is uninhabited as far as living goes. There are a couple of small dining establishments, but no hotels or houses. The beach is also much nicer on that side, and the waves are spectacular. I will put up more photos of that side of the island if anyone is interested. |

wow barbara--how ironic! i'm pretty sure that cozumel is where my boyfriend and i are going to go for our dive trip/vacation in a few weeks. do you mind if i email you for some tips (where to go, etc.)? i've found some good info on the internet, but i always would rather get personal advice if possible!

Great photos. I especially enjoyed the dive shop. I think that the bikes in front really made that one. My wife and I were in Mexico City last summer (during 911). Mexico seems to rich with photo opportunities.
