Comments appreciated...

Of course, I'm linking to pbase, so I expect something to go down at one point or another.

Pretty cool man, great color and crispness.

The clarity and color seem nice, but I don't feel much of a 'connection' with the subjects - if that makes any sense? I think I'd prefer the firsts picture maybe closer in and if the person was not behind the pole. Similarly for the second, I'd like to see the face (although it appears that maybe you were going for this faceless approach) - or at least a little closer in.

There seem to be some distracting elements in each of the frames (of course, it's not exactly like many other kinds of photography where you get to move things around if you like.. but just wanted to offer an opinion.

Thanks guys. I'm not *too* into street photography myself, but I love looking at it. Sometimes, the 'messiness' of the overall photo is what makes me look a bit closer. I plan on trying again...definately something I'd like to be more into.

On a side note, just picked up a new Lexar Hi-Speed (80x) 1 GIG CF card today. I swear this thing is faster than my other Ultra II card.

Lifetime warranty too!

Same here - I'm not much into taking street photography but enjoy looking at them... and would like to get more into it sooner or later, as well :P.

Congrats on the new card.. I know it won't make much of a difference on my camera, so I'll just stick with what I've got for now.. CF upgrades will have to come later.
