Looking for people who have this lens. What are your thoughts on it? I'm going to try and purchase it before the DC g2g, so I want to make sure its worth it! And please dont refer me to DPreview =) I want some user reviews!

It's an excellent lens.
First of all, it's large and heavy to steady your shot. Feels very robust.
It's focusing is fast and quiet, and nothing rotates or zooms in or out.
Pictures are sharp. Very highly rated by Popular Photography.
It takes 77mm filters in front of the lens (unlike Sigma's, I think), it does vinyette at 12mm with regular thickness polarizer.
Image feels a bit cooler than my Canon L lens, but it doesn't bother me.
There is a bit of CA, but I think all ultrawide zooms do that I think.
It's an excellent value at $500. I love mine, my buddy got it for his 20D on my recommendation and loves it as well.
I've many pics with it on my webpage, just click on the photo detail link and look for a focal lenght less than 24mm. Most likely it was taken with the Tokina.

Thanks. I got to play with the lens a bit, but didnt get to see the results. I liked the weight of it, and the focus was bloody quick. Im 99% sure i'll be purchasing this one.
