I'm pretty sure you need to be a member

Need to be a member for storage here....if you have them on another website you can link them just copy and paste the webpage url in here and tick the box below that says "automatically parse URLs"

or click the little earth icon above and put the link in there.

All this is in the window when you are relying to a thread

I use //www.imageshack.us to host my photos. You can upload as many pictures as you want as long as each one is under 1MB. The site even creates links and thumbnails which you can copy and paste in forums like this.

thanks for the tip.

ive been using photo.net to host my photos (for free). i think i have around 70+ images there without resizing the photos (approx 1MB-3MB/photo).

nice huh :)

just looked at your images, if your joining the challenges here let me know...I'm throwing my camera away, too many awesome photographers to compete against. ;)

You've got some very nice work there. Keep it up and welcome to the insanity.

Here's how you can link thumbnails to your photos:
(click quote on this post and see how I did it with forum codes)

By the way, I love about 90% of the images I saw there.
As sabphoto noted below, it will be interesting if you decide to join the challenges here.
If you decide to stick around for awhile, you'll see that there is something for everybody's taste here, and that you'll probably grow an addiction to the challenges. Hang around for a while, and decide if you want to become a member for another weekly challenge with somewhat more relaxed editing rules.

Welcome again, and happy shooting.

Wait until you submit your first challenge photo, and you end up receiving low scores with no comments, or comments that state how you did not meet the challenge, hehe.

Seriously, statistical anomaly or not, those things happen, but on the average, people do get recognized for the high quality photos they produce for this site and otherwise. This is just a forewarning not to run away when you get the first negative response.

hahahaha. had my share of that too. hehe well, cant do much about that. just hope that there are more sane people around who would write out constructive critism.

thanks for the warning though.

well we do have our share of those that actually try to help others but if you check the RANT forums I'm sure you'll find plenty of threads where people have no clue what others saw wrong with their pics or aren't getting any comments to help them. Just don't let the few get the best of you, I've learned tons from this site but have even more tons to learn (as you can tell by my below 6. average) ;)

edited...please change the below 6. average to read below 5.5 average :(
