Were beginning to prep for the upcoming fall/winter season and are putting the feelers out for possible shooters. Hopefully the list below will give you an idea of what we're looking for.

What you must have:
1: Laptop capable of receiving shots tethered via fire wire
2: DSLR capable of shooting to laptop tethered via fire wire.
3: The ability to auto rotate within your camera, this is required because our kiosk software reads this information from your camera.

4: Laptop with a 10/100 network card
5: DSLR capable of at least 6 MP size files.
6: L series or comparable glass 20-100 2.8 range for team portraits.
7: L series or comparable glass 70-200 2.8
8: At least 4 gigs of storage media with you on site we prefer 1 gig cards (4 of them)
9: Professional level On Camera Flash Unit, Most of the time it̢۪s not used but a must have in the event studio strobes fail.
10: Cell Phone with vibrate mode

What we hope you̢۪re capable of:
1: Action shots, an eye for capturing action at the peak of the moment. If you can do it you'll know exactly what I̢۪m talking about.
2: The ability to quickly pose 20-30 persons in an order that will produce great team portraits. Bring your lunch because this can go on for 16 hours some days.
3: Minimal knowledge of studio Lighting and lighting setup. We'll more than likely get the lights set up for you but the more you know the more you get paid. all lighting equipt is AB's
4: Basic understanding of computer networks.... can you map a network drive? can you configure your computers IP Address?

This is just a basic list of some of what we're looking for in shooters beside the ability to capture stunning action shots in conditions where full lighting is often provided as well as where available lighting is all we have.

Just putting the feelers out for this fall/winter season.
If interisted drop me an email with a sample shot of some action you've captured, Ill only need one in portraite mode so I can evaluate it on my server (EXIF data un altered) Straight outta your camera ad medium resolution. services@nationaleventphotography.com

Keep in mind, for those of you without some of this we're talking about 3 mounths out so "theres time to get what you dont got" Not so critical on the 6 MP file size 4-6 is more realistic in therms of acceptable.

You are asking for quite a bit in the way of technical skills and equipment. What are you offering to the people who can meet your needs? And where are you going to be operating?

Various venues coast to coast, LA, various cities in Texas, Ohio, PA, North central and south Florida, A Few dates in Las Vegas, also many scattered cities in 10 or 11 other states don̢۪t have venue locations and dates for those yet. Again this is this fall/winter lineup only spring and summer is much larger.

Really looking for several to follow the season that have professional grade skills and equipment, when your shooting contracts its important that when you commit yourself you be able to follow thru and produce.

We'll be providing all the transportation, airfare, ground transport and accommodations for all the events as well as a nice daily pay rate for all photographers we bring along. Just want to see who out there may have the required equip and skills so we perform as expected.

If you shoot or have shot events you'll understand what̢۪s required to pull things off without a hitch.

We're not asking for a lot but what̢۪s required. You'll need a good camera and various lenses that can cover a limited range of applications.
Because we shoot to a network server that offers virtually real time photo proofing and sales the laptop with fire wire is required.

Auto Rotation is a standard feature on many professional level cameras.
We require this because our kiosk software reads the data from the photos as they hit the server and generates thumbs based on this EXIF data.

Flash? well that̢۪s pretty much a given, if location lighting goes out for some reason its nice to at least have some on camera flash to provide some degree of lighting until lighting is restored.

I'll reply in regards to pay to those interested that feel they can meet these requirements.
