Would like some feedback. This is my oldest daughter and my first time in the studio. Would like some overall comments on what I did right, and wrong. Would also like comments on my overall performance for my first time in the studio.

Hmmm... Just by looking in her eyes, I can see where you've placed your strobes and it looks like everything should be okay. And yet, in several of the images the lighting seems fairly flat. I wonder if you used the same power on both strobes? If so, you might want to try turning one down or moving it further way just to create a little more shadow. The shadows (which you want to be very soft) will help define the shape of her face and give her a 3 dimensional look.

The ones that I think are showing this effect the best out of your series are these:

These show a difference in lighting... but I would have prefered the light to be a little more to the front:

That said... I think my two favorites of the bunch are these:

Those are very good suggestions. Will work on that the next time. Thank you for your time here. I do see what you mean.

By far my favorite of the bunch -- a great job, particularly for your first attempt. Left a comment.

It's amazing how much a difference those two tiny changes make. Very nice.

Worked great -- gave it that little extra punch.
