It's ironic that the suggestion and verbage for "Obsolete" was mine, and I just got DQ'd from the challenge ;) Not that I didn't deserve it, I thought I could use filters as long as I did it to the whole image. I reread the rules and agree with SC, the filter I used was not allowed - my bad.

So you're responsible for all the, umm, weird offbeat odd interpretations of obsolete (as in broken, discarded, outgrown, forgotten).
So what was your interpretation of the challenge?

This was the one I submitted. The filter I used was illegal in the basic challenge. I knew better too, I just wasn't thinking.

ironic that your obsolete submission is now in fact an obsolete submission.
Looked like a cool image though. Sorry about the DQ.

By the way, Scott, I LOVE your picture of Gatlinburg on your signature (sorry to get off the subject). I used to live in Kentucky and would go back and forth to Knoxville to see my grandma. I think Tennessee & Kentucky are 2 of the most beautiful states in the country. That is just a gorgeous picture.
Ok. . .back to obsolete. . . that was a great obsolete photo of the rag doll. I think it would have looked awesome without the filter too. I'm sorry it was dq'd too. :(
