Hi! I just went over to shoot with my two regular models. This time, Marie-Eve's mother hired me to shoot them getting ready to go the graduation ball (I guess americans call it prom night...) Anyways, we had to shoot pretty early (5pm)and I wanted it to look later than that, so I used my SB-800 flash with a warming filter. How does it look to you guys?

looks great to me! the only thing i would do is to clone out the small white dots at the top left of the pic...they're a bit distracting. good job! |

Very pretty shot and girl. She looks older than graduation age. I would agree with sher about the dots. Very nice. |

I too agree about the white dots. I think it is an amazing photo and such a beautiful dress. |

Thanks! Here's another one... Working in RAW drives me nuts it's so long. At least the results are worth it.

I really like the first shot...the second looks a little too green on my monitor.

The first one is very nice, the last one though is a little off in color. |

It looks extremely green to me. Try keying off the whites of her eyes to get the white balance correct.

You have it! This is lovely. I'd say as blue/green colorblind, which can be a handicap, but not a barrier, you should learn and trust the camera and do as little PS as needed. You have a great eye for posing, composition, style.

generally apealing but I find there is something wrong with the skin tone, way to much red in there |

Is there a way (I'm sure there is) in PhotoShop to check exactly what color a subject is with the RGB values that could provide me with some guideline to compensate with my handicap? |

It will be difficult to find the right compansation because there is nothing grey and nothing black in your image, if there were, you would only have had to go into levels in use the eye droppers to pick your Black, Greay and White points...this could have helped.
I think that a slight desat could render the skintone more natural.

I think that a slight desat could render the skintone more natural. | By using Selective color and bringning the magenta and yellow down in the red channel, the skintone becomes pretty accurate without affecting the rest of the picture.
I did -20 on each slider... Give it a shot.
