Hey, really cool photos. I'm no expert, but I love them both. Smoke is so interesting-- I think I'm going to go try to do some shots myself! :o)

Both are very beautiful. I really like the first one a lot, it reminds me of marble somehow. The fact that it's not startlingly sharp adds to it, I think. I also think that cropping a bit off the bottom would benefit the composition...

Sure, exposure/aperature, etc.. would be nice to know, but what I'd be more interested in is the lighting setup and maybe an original to see what role post processing had on the final images.
