Hi everybody,
Over the weekend, a bunch of us are going whitewater rafting near Ohiopyle State Park, PA. I would love to take photos...but I have a digital camera, a Canonpowershot S50 which decidedly does not like water. And since its the only camera I have, I need to be careful.

Could anybody give me any ideas? tips? Help is greatly appreciated.

If you really want to bring the camera and have it completely secure for a wet bumpy ride down a river, you may want to invest in a Pelican Case. They are watertight, are super strong and have a foam liner to protect stuff. Can't shoot through solid plastic though :)

Another way to go is to buy a waterproof housing for the camera.

Cheapest way out is buying one of those submersible throw-away film cameras.
