I got a big stipend today for some work I've been doing and finally have enough for the Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8D ED lens. I wanted to purchase it today so that I would still be eligible for the $100 rebate offer from Nikon that ends 6/30/05. Only problem is, the only two stores I trust online both have it sold out. This was the Spring Rebate program. Anyone know if they tend to have some sort of rebate program for every season of the year? =) If so, then I'll just wait for the Summer rebates to kick in instead of buying it right away when it comes in stock again. It's hard to resist the temptation when you have the money....=) |

It seems that Nikon constantly has a rebate on their lenses so you should be in luck. |
