yes hes alive

stacked 70-200 2.8 L and 24-70 2.8 L

doesnt matter if you have f 1000, the DOF is going to be tiny no matter what you do

Is this cropped ? this is really extreme !!
I used 50mm on 100mm and got this.. (50% of frame cropped )

ok how do you stack lens!?
simply put it in front of the other lens?

ok now that "bugs" me hehehe!
interesting thing......i'll just try and see what I can do puting mytwo lenses "face to face" LoL

prolly a blurry blob will come out of my shot

cropped horizontally, not vertically if ya know what i mean

Wow, I'm going to have to think of something very different if I want to get on the board in this challenge with my P&S. That's some pretty extreme stuff. Maybe I can borrow the electron microscope at the U. of Toronto.

That is very, very close with a lot of detail. That combination works well. It is an excellent image.

Reviewers may find the out of focus snout(or whatever the heck that near part of the insect is) would be more appealing if it were in a little better focus. You'd likely have to have less of the eyes in focus to accomplish that given you are already shooting at f/16. You will find that past high placing insect macros are focused absolutely sharp or very close to it at their nearest point to the camera.
