There are quite a few DPC people around the Bay Area so I figured I would ask if any of you have bought a used car here? If so how did you find it?
When I lived in Southern California I would have just put an ad in the Recycler and Pennysaver and it would have sold in a week or two. I haven't seen the Recycler up here in the Bay Area and the Pennysaver doesn't seem to have a big distribution. I did put an ad on Craigslist but I'd like to maximize exposure. I've never had any luck with putting a sign in the window. Any recommendations on where to post an ad online? |

| I don't live in California but I see that carsoup.com is in the Ca. area. That's how I bought my car (in Minnesota) so maybe that's a popular site in your area as well? |

I hadn't heard of CarSoup before but it looks pretty slick. I'll keep it in mind but I'm hoping to find more places where you can place free ads. It's an old car and I'm not asking much for it. |

There's a couple of auto-trading newspapers I see in the racks all the time. You can also try the Classified Flea Market
