I'm curious. Does any one know the ratio of how far away a person would be with a given lens to be full framed? (On a Canon 1.6 Crop Factor). I could do the math, but if someone knows off the top of their head I would be grateful.

In other words, a 6 foot person would fill the frame (landscape) with a
50mm lens at ___ feet
200mm lens at ___ feet
300mm, 500mm, etc.

Is there a standard formula?

Yes and it usually can be found in the manual that comes with the lens. Well, at least that is where I found it for my lenses.
