Okay... maybe "awesome" is a bit presumptious, but I love 'em. These are just a few of the more "picturesque" moments during my camping trip this past week. All of these are up in the mountains west of Indianola Utah (south east of Spanish Fork, Utah).

Best of all, these are pretty much straight out of the camera. I took over 900 pictures in 4 days time and haven't had time to process anything yet!

(oops, one exception: the slightly blurred one with the moon in it has been sharpened to try to reduce the blurriness ... what can I say? f/2.8 at 1/10th of a second!)

Edit for spelling errors.

I'll allow "awesome"! Sounds like you had a wonderful camping trip. My favs of these you posted are the three on the top right and then the little tree on Mount Baldy. Keep 'em coming, want to see more!

I think they are great also. I haven't been down to the camping areas that far south, but I plan to get there later this summer, maybe to the payson lakes area, and then try getting some landscapes while I'm there.

Thanks. Most of the rest of my shots are people shots... we were at "Girl's Camp" for the week and I made myself the resident photographer. I'm preparing a slideshow for the girls right now. Should be awesome... that 70-200 2.8 lens works some real "magic" when you want to separate people from their background!

I'd love to go back to Payson Lakes. This (one of my challenge shots) was taken last year:
