Hello,

Last night I had the chance to bring my camera to a local concert, so I grabbed a few shots. I'm interested in anyone's opinion on them - it was my first time shooting bands. Thanks.

I like them all, it's great that you managed to the the stage mood and the lighting in the shots, it really establishes the vibe very well.

Very Nice!!
Did you use a high ISO and then Neat Image them?
I looked at your profile and you really dont have a "fast" lens--
Regardless, they turned out great..

ISO was set to 1600. I manually set the shutter to 1/50 to prevent blurring.

No noise reduction at all. Just auto levels, color, and contrast, cropping, and resizing.

This was with the kit lens.

WHAT!!?? ISO 1600, no noise reduction & no noise? Tha is amazing. I have the same cam & always mangae to get LOADS of noise & need to do lots of reduction in post processing to get rid of noise.
Do you have the hack installed? If so, what metering did you use?
Oh, great shots BTW!

The noise may have gone away since I put the resolution from 180 to 72 dpi... maybe?

Nope, don't have the hack. I've wanted to, but I'm scared I'll hurt my camera. :P

And thanks! (To everyone!)
