I recently ordered some expensive new camera gear, and, to keep the wife happy, I need to part with my Canon EF 35-350mm f/3.5-5.6L USM Autofocus lens. I bought the lens at about the same time that I joined DPC (Jan 16 2004), so it's not very old. It's been well taken care of and is in perfect condition.

Perhaps not the best examples, but many of the photos in my portfolio were taken with this lens...

I plan to put the lens up for sale on ebay, but I thought I'd give you guys the first chance to buy this very nice lens.

Here's a photo of the lens...

And the hood...

Here's the info (from online retailer ads)
-----------------------------------------------

Super telephoto zoom lens with a 10x zoom ratio! High image quality is maintained. Ideal for sports and documentary photography when you need to change the framing often. The zoom adjustment ring lets you adjust the zoom torque to your liking. At the 135mm focal length, close-ups up to 0.25x are possible.

Focus Drive: Ultrasonic
Groups/Elements: 15/21
Angle of View: 63°-3°30'
Minimum Focus: 2 ft. (0.6m)
Minimum Aperture: f/22-32
Maximum Magnification (x) 0.25 (at 135mm)
Filter (diameter): 72mm
Length: 69/16" (167mm)
Weight (g) 1,385

An awesome "do-all" lens. This one is truly a remarkable peice of engineering. It is made very sturdy, is very compact for the focal lengths that it covers, fast focus and yields extremely sharp images. It is also a great lens for street photography as well as travel, it does everything. If you can afford just one "L" lens and want it to do as much as a single lens can do, I would recommend that you seriously consider this one. It comes with a well engineered lens hood and takes 72mm filters. This lens is predominately of metal construction.

And the price? PM me with an offer I can't refuse. :)

You're a day late dude. I just went out and spent $1100 on my other hobby. Woodworking. Oh well. Good luck, I'm sure it will sell quickly. Thanks for thinking of us here at dpc first.
