UPDATE:
I opened up a free Businees Checking account yesterday in the name of "Developing Photographers". I have registered it with Paypal and waiting to confirm. Once it is confirmed and I can begin accepting donations I will post it here with the e-mail to send donations to.

Update:
I now have a P.O. Box for people to send ion their old cameras.

Right now their are no guidelines as far as what kind of camera we will take it only has to work and be digital right now. If you want to send your old camera then send it to the address above. Please pm me if you send one though. Upon request a receipt will be given once FMV is assesed on the camera once received.
Again thanks for everyone's support for me in this great journey about to begin.

Website is starting to take shape. Thanks to Ken with all his expertise in getting the website up and running. There is a donation button and an address there to send donated cameras too check it out!!!

| One more aspect for you to think about, especially for when you actually start working with the children is that of insurance. In today's litigious society with people suing anyone for anything, and even though the risk is small, it doesn't take much for something to happen and then you have a parent calling a lawyer. So, I would go and talk to your insurance agent and see what they would recommend for coverage. |

Thanks for the advice. I will be talking to my agent today about insurance and premiums.

For those wondering the donations haven't been rolling in. I am going to be working on getting the charity out in the open in the next few weeks. Also wanted to remind people that donations can now be accepted through paypal or the address at the link in my signature. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You know if everyone here donated $1 then that would be enough to supply 320 people with a $100 camera.

Hey Rex, you still have my donation of the Mavica (although I haven't sent it). Don't know if it's as useful as a camera. But maybe we can ebay it for few bucks at least!! :-) And of course, you still have my support for whatever help you might need for the website and the kids. Perhaps, I might even be able to squeeze a few bucks out of the old man, although he holds those purse strings pretty tight. ;-)
