I went for a walk today with my really bad Kenko 500mm f8 manualfocus mirrorlens and this is the result.

comments please :)

99% of the images had a really bad halo like this one.


I have one of the images in the obsolete challenge, I'm curious to see how it will score considering the lens used :)

hmm the pictures dont look sharp, wonder what makes it that way

Have you tried using a tripod with that lens? It's supposed to help.

this is a review on a $1000 lens, mine was only $99 with 2X tube and EF mount piece.

both shots were taken with tripod at 1/1600 sec ISO 1600

this is a reason why to not purchase a mirror lens.
